Harvesting Love and Desire

Artist Earl Norem; pinterest.com

Sunlight was tickling the leaves of the apple trees and dancing upon the summer grass when I found you in the orchard.

You were sitting on a wooden ladder, wincing and holding your arm that you had cut on the branches while plucking down apples.

Quickly, I moved to help, tearing the top of your blouse to your gasping response and tying the silken material around your arm.

As I dressed the wound, pressing the warmth of my body to yours, you glanced back at me with a hint of deep gratitude and a spark of hungry desire as your blouse slipped even lower.
